Construction work is complete to the latest transformation at the Theatre Royal, Newcastle. Our designs for the green rooms, dressing rooms, rehearsal studio and other back of house areas incorporating numerous elements of artwork have been well received by staff and actors alike.
Planning permission has been granted for the proposed restaurant at Grade I listed Levens Hall and Gardens.
We look forward to taking the vision forward onto site in the near future.
A small consolation in not being selected for the RIBA organised competition at Sessay was feedback that our competition entry was longlisted down to the last few prior to shortlisting.

We were rendered temporarily speechless after picking up three regional RIBA Awards at the recent North East RIBA Awards alongside some of the biggest names in architecture. Friar House picked up the award for the best conservation project as well as a regional award and we were delighted to be the winners of the Emerging Practice of the Year.
There were celebrations into the night and now the hard work continues to maintain the momentum!
Following the RICS and Lord Mayors Awards we are delighted to have an RIBA award nomination for Friar House. Our work on the then dilapidated Georgian house transformed into Roomzzz Apartment Hotel has been shortlisted in the North East regional category.
